Gitil Kocha Pahantoli

In the area of pahan toli, we have around 300+ youths. and for the smooth running of the youth group, some rules and regulations have been set in place. Our group consists of a president, vice president, treasurer, and vice treasurer. Each month, we collect some amount of money from the group members, of which half is submitted to our parish and the other half is used for the activities organized for our group.

Our Community is divided into six groups :

1) Adarsh Nagar & Akhara Kocha

2) Bhabha Nagar

3) Gitil Kocha I

4) Gitil Kocha II

5) Gitil Kocha III

6) Tunki Toli & Pahantoli

Every year, our youths take part in different activities such as Christmas gatherings, Advent mass, Lent mass, Mother Mary Procession, Picnics, etc. The communities orchestrate competitions for the youth and the children. Monthly meetings are small prayers for our community and are also organized.

Our Community also takes part in Church Activities. All programs held in the church or in our community, are managed by us.

Messages from President

With immense joy, I welcome you all to this initiative and the young fraternity of Holy Angels’ Church, Kokar Parish. May this initiative be fruitful for those in need and for all as well. Amidst all the challenges and temptations of the worldly glitters, it becomes difficult for one to resist. The tough generation is in severe need of inspiration and true guidance.

This initiative strives for the same cause. love and compassion can bring about a change, a change in a Christian way indeed.

Thanking you for a new experience of changing oneself and ultimately the society we live in. And to march forward courageously.

Jai Yeshu!

– Praween Lakra, President, Gitil Kocha Pahantoli.
